Several workings operated by GBR Railfreight ran for crew route learing in connection with that company taking over the Rail Head Treatment Train.

9 September 2025. Whilst 66702 'Blue Lightning' was stabled for a short while at Yeovil Junction (GBRF Railfreight), the Rail Head Treatment Train was routed into the other siding (Balfour Beatty). Yeovil Railway Centre's Fowler 'Sam' completes the picture.




On 11 September it was the turn of 59003 'Yeoman Highlander'.




on 21 September 2025, ex-Class 153 153379 was in use as a Track Inspection train. Interestingly the unit was classed as an 'X' train between Salisbury and Yeovil being 'Out of Gauge'.

21 September 2025 the same unit had been unusually stabled in Templecombe down siding and then worked to Exeter and back to Salisbury.
