UK Railtours ran their excursion 'The Somerset and Dorset' from London-Yeovil Junction-Weymouth and back to London with 35028 Clan Line. This engine is normally used on the VSOE (Orient Express) train and only operates a couple of other trips each year.




Accelerating away from Templecombe with some slipping, 'Clan Line' is on the way to Yeovil.

Diesel 66015 had been attached to the rear of the train from London runs round ready for the trip down to Weymouth.




Diesel hauled brake van trips were run down the Clifton Maybank branch.
