In 1996 this area was cleared of some loose soil etc back to the cliff face. Since then it has been used for parking with JCBs and heavy vehicles driving over. A clue maybe ? ****** ** ****

A concrete Ottery St Mary sign. How it got here we have no idea!! Seen after some cleaning. The letters had made a clear imprint in the soil where it had lain for 40+ years? We also have a similar Sutton Bingham sign under restoration. CLICK HERE
