Held this year on 11, 17,18 and 23 December. Once again a fantastic scene has been created and (for a couple of years) a coach is on loan and takes part in the celebrations.

'Pectin' and its train waiting for the first passengers.

The 'on-loan' coach and, as an alternative, the usual brake van. Take your choice! Ride in comfort or enjoy the fresh air (or a warming fire inside the van!).

'Pectin' is at one end....

....while the Ruston diesel operates in top and tail mode.

The Ruston proudly displays new number and nameplates.

Monsoon conditions (without the heat) appeared for 30 minutes on the last day!

By the finish however it was a beautiful sunset. Pectin awaits movement to the Shed after a great Santa Season!

Snow and bubbles abound inside!

General scene.

Great Fun!

Traditional Christmas Tree.

In addition to Yeovil Railway Centre's own layout operated by Ryan (thank you), some of our friends from Westland & Yeovil District Model Engineering Society operated a live steam layout.

Of course none of this could take place without the willing volunteers. Here some of the operational staff pose around 'Pectin'.

More volunteers!
