SANTA SPECIALS AT YEOVIL RAILWAY CENTRE
| Thank you for checking out our web site and in particular details of our Santa Specials. The Santa Specials at the Yeovil Railway Centre are an enjoyable experience for everyone from ages 1 to 100. You start your visit with a train ride behind one of our steam locomotives and travel in a decorated heritage carriage. Our track is about 1/3rd mile long, so the train ride is full of fun for the children but not long enough for them to get bogreen. Visitors then make their way to the ex GWR Transfer Shed, where Santa will be ready to receive his visitors. After you have concluded the visit to Santa you may wish to visit the Shop (located on the platform) where there is a large selection of books, DVDs, Model Railway items (second hand) and much more. We take the safety of visitors very seriously. Parents/Grandparents/Guardians are asked to please keep your children with you at all times. Do not trespass on the railway and only cross our track on the designated board crossing. We want and believe that you and your children will have a wonderful Santa experience with us. We appreciate all comments, good or bad, please feel free to make an entry in our visitors book. If any visitor wishes to raise any matters on the day, please do not hesitate to speak to one of our volunteers. |
| Booking Form and prices for Santa Specials 2024 *Our always popular Santa Specials are to be held on 1 December (Sunday), 08 December (Sunday), 14 December (Saturday), 15 December (Sunday), 22 December (Sunday) and 23 December (Monday) this year. Please note that Santa dates have changed from those in the brochure *Prices per person (adult or child) are £15.00 and pre-booking is essential this year at least 24 hours in advance. An Early Bird discount of 10% applies from 25 June (when we plan to open bookings) to 30 September 2024. We may not be able to take any 'on the day' transactions. Please help us by booking as early as possible and there will be less chance of disappointment. 'On the day' tickets will be sold at £20 per person and strictly subject to availability. Babies under the age of 1 are not charged and we will provide a small present from Santa. Please simply mention any young babies at the foot of the internet booking form. *Trains run at 10.15am, 10.40am, 11.05am, 11.30am, 11.55am, 12.20pm, 1.40pm, 2.05pm, 2.30pm, 2.55pm and 3.30pm. except on Saturday 14 December 2024 Trains on Saturday 14 December 2024 run at 2pm, 2.25pm, 2.50pm, 3.15pm, 3.40pm, then after dark 5.05pm, 5.30pm, 5.55pm, 6.20pm, 6.45pm, 7.10pm *Your visit is likely to last around an hour and includes a steam train ride, tea/coffee and a mince pie with soft drink for the children and of course a visit to see Santa.
